Call your physician for preventive treatment if you're exposed to chicken pox or measles. These conditions could be serious as well as fatal in people who are using Nasonex.
Before using Nasonex, tell your physician in case you have been sick or had an infection of any type. You may not be able to use Nasonex before you are well.
Also tell a medical expert if you are allergic to the drugs, or for those who have:
glaucoma or cataracts;
herpes simplex virus of one's eyes;
tuberculosis or other infection or illness;
sores or ulcers as part of your nose; or
in case you have recently had injury of or surgery on your own nose.
FDA pregnancy category C. This medication might be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor should you be pregnant or prefer to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether Nasonex passes into breast milk or if it might harm a nursing baby. Do not use Nasonex without telling a medical expert if you're breast-feeding a baby.
