INDICATIONS
Prilosec is utilized for treating heartburn or irritation of the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also be utilized for short-term management of ulcers from the stomach or small intestines. It may also be utilized with certain antibiotics to treat ulcers in the small intestines and also to assist in preventing them from ever coming back. It may also be used to help remedy conditions that cause the body to produce a lot of stomach acid (eg, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome). Prilosec is really a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by lowering the volume of acid stated in the stomach.

STORAGE
Store Prilosec at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store faraway from heat, moisture, and lightweight. Do not store within the bathroom. Keep Prilosec out from the reach of children and away from pets.
