Procardia is utilized for treating some kinds of angina (chest pain). Procardia can be a calcium channel blocking agent. It works by interfering with the conventional action of calcium in circulatory constriction (relaxes the veins) and heart muscle contraction (heart may beat with less force and generate less blood) and nerve conduction inside heart (heart may beat slower plus more regularly). Calcium channel blockers are employed to dilate (widen) the arteries from the heart and also other arteries (reduce angina chest pain reducing elevated blood pressure), and stabilize the center rhythm in conditions in which the heart is beating too fast or perhaps an irregular rhythm (antiarrhythmic effects).

STORAGE
